If you’ve been living under a rock, you might want to crawl back under. There’s a trend going on that involves urban folks stretching their ear lobes and donning large key ring-like earrings.
Much like the women of the Congo. Or Thailand. Or tribal people. Or like Mesoamerican cultures such as the Maya and the Aztecs.
Gauging. Plugs. Body Manipulation. (Doing stomach crunches is enough body manipulation for me.) Whatever you want to call it. I ran across an informative article here:
