My friend Gina Valley reminded me about something important. About enjoying today. About taking in the fleeting moments. About relishing the present.
Funny that you don’t have to tell little children this. Or dogs.
It’s something so simple, yet easy to forget once you get older. And busier.
This reminder came at a good time for me last week, when I was starting to feel kinda bogged down with work deadlines and gross projects like cleaning out the refrigerator and lacking sleep.
In fact, reading this little message spurred me to take my daughter to breakfast at her favorite place (and be late to school), balance my son on my feet as he flew through the air, and have a movie-and-popcorn date with my husband. On a Thursday!
Now I’m passing the message along to you. Let me know what you decide to do with it.
