Got balls? Sagging cake balls?

I received a handy-dandy cake pop maker for Christmas. Here’s how it works:

  1. Plop in some cake batter.
  2. Close the lid.
  3. Wait 7 minutes.
  4. Presto. Your cake balls (cake pops) are ready.
  5. Time to frost and decorate. Just like Martha would.
  6. Stick a stick in them and serve. Or gift them to your neighbors. With pride.

They are supposed to look like these:

But mine turned out like this. My neighbors sure are lucky!

Brilliant! Cake pops ARE funny. I’ve had some trial and error myself (http://beccaislearning.com/post/14209760419/the-perfect-cake-pop).

It’s the taste that counts, right?

Becca x

PS- I learnt not to bake mince pie pops with the stick in. Turns out that plastic sticks melt.

That is hilarious. I love it! Do they taste good at least?

Those were the tastiest balls I’ve ever had. Ha ha!

Looks can be deceiving. :-)

Thanks for your note,

Becca, I have visited your blog and saw your cake pops…gone right! Beauties, I tell ya!

Thanks for your note,

I’m a strong advocate of deliciously ugly desserts. They’re less likely to be eaten by everyone else! Maybe that just makes me a selfish baker….

Looks can be deceiving, right?!

Ha ha, thanks for writing!

Hey. Now yours look familiar. Also, easier to do.

Ha! Ugly but delicious!

Thanks for reading, to my fellow baker-of-ugly-stuff,
Pippi
